Georgiana Nertea

Georgiana Nertea has a strong background in financial services auditing and bankruptcy and restructuring advisory. Georgiana started their career at Arthur Andersen LLP as an Auditor for Financial Services Entities in 2001. In 2002, they joined EisnerAmper LLP where they served as a Bankruptcy and Restructuring Advisor and Financial Services Auditor. In this role, they conducted forensic analysis of financial data, assisted counsel in maximizing recoveries, and performed audits of financial services entities. Georgiana stayed with EisnerAmper LLP until 2016. Since then, they have been working at Sherwood Partners, Inc. Initially starting as a Senior Vice President, they are now the Managing Director of the company.

Georgiana Nertea obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Syracuse University - Martin J. Whitman School of Management from 1996 to 2001. In 2015, they completed a Financial Modeling and Valuation course at the Investment Banking Institute in New York, NY. Georgiana holds additional certifications as a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor from the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors.
