Jeremy Vander Velde

Jeremy Vander Velde is the current VP of Customer Operations at Shift. Prior to this, they were the GM at CarMax from March 2020 to March 2022. Jeremy was also the Regional Manager at Tesla from June 2018 to February 2020. Vander Velde has also worked as the Director of Retail Operations at Payless ShoeSource from April 2009 to April 2018. Jeremy was responsible for leading a team of district leaders and group leaders on the West Coast, Hawaii, Guam, Saipan, and Alaska. Jeremy also designed and implemented strategies to achieve company Key Performance Indicator goals for over 500 store locations. Prior to their work at Payless ShoeSource, Vander Velde worked at Circuit City as the Sales Development from February 1999 to March 2009, where they were responsible for selling strategies in Technology categories, including personal computing and digital imaging products.

Jeremy Vander Velde studied at Western Washington University and got a certification from Washburn University in Lean Six Sigma.
