Amanda is the Chief People Officer at Shift5 where she enables the company to embrace work reinvention in a post-COVID world. Amanda oversees all Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Development, and Culture initiatives at Shift5, bringing deep expertise in HR operations and organizational design. Most recently, Amanda was the Head of People at a marketing agency where she led the team through 4 years of growth. She started her career as a Signals Intelligence Officer in the United States Marine Corps where she led a company of intelligence analysts, radio operators, and linguists. In other roles, Amanda led the people & change management efforts at a disaster response organization, honed her supply chain and logistics skills with Target Corporation, and led the analysis and development of military cybersecurity requirements with Booz Allen Hamilton. When not behind a computer, she can usually be found with her nose in a great book or doing anything and everything in the great outdoors.
Amanda received her BA in Political Science from Sonoma State University and her MA in Education & Human Development with a focus in Organizational Leadership & Learning from George Washington University.
