Alan Neal

Alan Neal has extensive work experience in various engineering management roles. Alan is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Shoals Technologies Group, where they lead technical and strategic initiatives for interconnecting and monitoring panels in large solar installations. Prior to that, they held the position of Managing Director at Pinpoint Manufacturing Company, where they oversaw domestic and offshore engineering and production of customized metal and plastic components.

Alan also has experience working at Leviton as the VP Engineering and at Thomas & Betts as the VP Engineering & Technology. At Thomas & Betts, they were responsible for R&D, Advanced Technology, and Quality for the Electrical Division.

Alan'sprevious roles include Division VP Engineering at Ametek, Director of Engineering at Square D Schneider Electric, Engineering Manager at Cincinnati Milacron, Lead Software Project Engineer at Allen-Bradley, and Engineer at Motorola GEG.

Alan Neal earned their Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The Ohio State University in 1983. Alan later pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) from Arizona State University from 1984 to 1986. Lastly, Alan completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business from 2000 to 2002.
