Yap Hui Shien

Yap Hui Shien has a strong background in talent acquisition and recruitment. Yap started their career as a Consultant at Capita Global Sdn. Bhd., where they were responsible for sourcing candidates, matching client requirements with candidate preferences, and participating in salary negotiations.

After working at Capita Global for two years, they joined Global Enterprise International Malaysia, a member of the Singtel Group, as a Talent Acquisition Business Partner. In this role, they ensured that the hiring process met service level agreements and collaborated with the HR team to develop effective talent acquisition strategies.

Currently, Yap Hui Shien is working at ShopBack as a Talent Acquisition Business Partner. Their responsibilities include overseeing the full-cycle recruitment process, from crafting job descriptions to sourcing and selecting candidates, as well as conducting interviews and reference checks. Yap is also focused on finding innovative and resourceful methods to attract top talent.

Yap Hui Shien attended HELP University from 2010 to 2013, where they studied Psychology.
