Melissa Dooher

Melissa Dooher currently serves as the Senior Director of Forensics and Litigation Support at SoundThinking, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, Melissa was temporarily retired after a distinguished career at the Alameda County District Attorney's Office, where service spanned nearly 25 years, including roles as Assistant District Attorney and Deputy District Attorney. Melissa also worked as a Deputy District Attorney for Alameda County since November 1998. An educational background includes a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology and Spanish Literature from the University of California at San Diego. Additionally, Melissa has taken on the role of Inter-Governmental Liaison to the Oakland Police Department, focusing on homicide cases.
