Global creative platform Shutterstock has announced the appointment of John Lapham as its General Counsel. As a member of the company’s leadership team, Mr. Lapham will lead its legal strategy, be a strategic advisor on legal and business issues, manage risk throughout the organization and provide legal support to growth and transformation initiatives.

Mr. Lapham brings 25 years of legal experience to his new role, most recently as General Counsel, SVP Government Affairs for Rover.com. His expertise includes legal, regulatory, corporate governance and business affairs, global intellectual property, lobbying strategies, merger, acquisition and finance.
