Sarah Dietrich-Smith

Sarah Dietrich-Smith serves as the Global Function Controller at Siemens Energy since October 2017, overseeing budget, forecasts, and financial reporting for the Global Digitalization headquarters. Previously, Sarah held the position of Finance Manager and Commercial Lead, managing commercial operations for North America's HVDC, FACTS, and Grid Access service businesses. Sarah's career at Siemens began in 2011, progressing from Finance Auditor, where governance, risk, and financial management were emphasized, to Material/Inventory Analyst, achieving significant inventory reductions. Sarah completed a Finance Leadership Development Program with various rotations in corporate and operations finance. Early experience includes a finance internship at Siemens in 2010. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance from the University of Florida and an International Baccalaureate diploma from Palm Harbor University High School.
