Youssef Boumkila

Youssef Boumkila currently serves as the Global Head of Operational Excellence & Systems at Siemens Energy, overseeing global wind power blades factories both onshore and offshore since January 2025. Prior to this role, Youssef held various positions at Siemens Gamesa from September 2016 to December 2024, including Head of Quality and HSE for onshore regions in Germany, Head of Manufacturing Blades, and Head of Operational Excellence and Manufacturing for the Tangier Morocco Blades Factory and Cuxhaven Germany Nacelle Factory. Youssef's previous experience includes positions at DAHER as Head of Manufacturing Engineering and Lean Manufacturing from September 2011 to August 2016, as well as a Lean Management Consultant at a consulting firm from October 2010 to August 2011. Youssef holds a Black Belt in Six Sigma from the Six Sigma Management Institute and an Engineer's degree in Industrial Engineering from Mohammadia School of Engineers, along with a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma from McKinsey & Company.
