Marcel S.

Marcel S. is a retired professional with extensive experience in the chemical engineering and hydroprocessing sectors. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Chemistry at Siena College since August 2022, Marcel previously held significant roles at major companies, including Chevron, Shell, and Albemarle, where responsibilities included technical support, customer optimization, and partnership development in hydrocracking and hydroprocessing technologies. Marcel started a career in process engineering at Refineria Isla (Curazao) SA and has advanced through various specialist positions over the years. Marcel holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Texas A&M University and a B.S. in Chemistry from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico.
