Amanda Shepherd

Amanda Shepherd currently serves as the Deputy Regional Field Director for Sierra Club, overseeing field staff across New England and previously for the Midwest. With a strong background in environmental advocacy, Amanda has held key positions including Chapter Director for the Sierra Club Hoosier Chapter and Senior Manager of Outreach at the Hoosier Environmental Council, where efforts focused on grassroots engagement and educational initiatives. Other roles include Regional Coordinator for Sustainable Indiana 2016 and various teaching positions at both junior high and high school levels. Amanda holds a Master of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from Indiana State University, complementing a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Science from the same institution.
