Patrick Murphy

Patrick Murphy serves as Vice President at Sierra Club since 2021, driving transformation initiatives focused on climate strategy and sustainable policy solutions. In 2022-2023, Patrick took on the role of Treasurer and Financial & Risk Officer, successfully reducing the organization's historic deficit by 94% while working towards a balanced budget. Previously, Patrick was Vice President and Managing Consultant for ESG Solutions at Point B, combining expertise in climate strategy and consulting. Prior experience includes significant roles at Kasasa, Cape Town Activa, American Wind Wildlife Institute, and as a co-instructor at the University of Notre Dame, enriching knowledge in sustainability, finance, and organizational change. Patrick holds an MBA in Sustainability from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University.
