Senior Director, Technology Services at SightLife

Kimberly Phillips is the current Senior Director of Technology Services at SightLife. Kimberly has been in this role since May of 2020. Prior to their current role, they were a Senior Program Manager at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation from June 2015-May 2020. In this role, they were responsible for enhancing and delivering a foundation-wide portfolio management platform on Salesforce as part of the Great Decisions project. Kimberly engaged with stakeholders to obtain feedback to inform opportunities for improvement and collaborated with GD team to determine the subsequent features to improve adoption and derive 12-18-month roadmap to enable the next phase of portfolio management maturity across the foundation.

Before their time at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Kimberly was a Principal Consultant at Slalom Consulting from September 2013-May 2015. In this role, they were an Enterprise Business Architect for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Kimberly led key business stakeholders through the development of an enterprise technical roadmap and facilitated intensive multi-week engagement with key business stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact the success of new financial system implementation. Kimberly also spearheaded the development of an enterprise capability model to enable capability assessments, strategy maturity, and road mapping. In addition, they drove the formalization of an expanded business stakeholder partnership to foster improved business-led requirements and decision making for a new data and reporting platform implementation. Lastly, they participated in the establishment of the new enterprise architecture team (planning, budgeting and enterprise architecture methodology).

Kimberly Phillips has a MBA in Finance & Operations from Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and a BA in Business Psychology from Miami University.

Kimberly Phillips reports to Jim McCorkle, CEO. They are on a team with Beibei Yi - Country Director, China, Patrick Emery - VP, Asia & Ethiopia, and Andrea Crosson - Senior Director, Donor Operations & Quality Assurance.
