Arpit Garg

Arpit Garg is a seasoned technology professional specializing in machine learning, data engineering, and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Sightline Climate since May 2025, Arpit has previously worked as a Data & AI Engineer at Next Gate Tech and as a Technical Visiting Fellow at ZINC, where advisory contributions were made to startups in the climate and health tech sectors. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer at Tractable, Senior Data Engineer at Visa, and Data Engineer positions at both Visa and EverString. Arpit's early career included internships that laid the foundation for expertise in software engineering and data analysis, supported by a Master of Science in Information and Data Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
