Linda Prieto

Linda Prieto currently serves as the Chief Program & Advancement Officer at Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund (SV2) since February 2025. Previously, Linda held the role of Executive Director at Upward Scholars from October 2018 to February 2025, where leadership contributed to the organization becoming Latina-led and significantly enhancing its services, fundraising efforts, and community partnerships. Linda's academic career includes positions as a lecturer in Chicanx/Latinx Studies at Stanford University and multiple assistant professor roles across various universities, focusing on bilingual education and human development. Linda earned a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Texas at Austin, a master’s degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a bachelor's degree from Stanford University.
