James Beresford

James Beresford, MBA, currently serves as the Executive Director and Chief of Staff in the Office of the President at Simon Fraser University since June 2022. Prior to this role, James held the position of Senior Management Consultant at Elevate Consulting Inc. from March 2021 to June 2022, and served as Director of Strategic Initiatives and Sr. Project Manager at UBC Faculty of Medicine from September 2017 to February 2021. James' earlier experience includes managerial roles at UBC Faculty of Medicine overseeing operations and governance, a Public Affairs Officer position at the B.C. Government Communications and Public Engagement, and project management roles within the BC Provincial Government. James holds a Bachelor of Arts from The University of British Columbia, an MBA from Royal Roads University, and a Graduate Certificate in Project Management.
