Ashleigh Rains

Ashleigh Rains is a seasoned producer and festival director with extensive experience in the film and television industry. Currently serving as a Producer at C'mon Mort Productions since December 2022, Ashleigh has contributed to notable projects such as the political drama "PRIME," which has been selected for the 2024 Series Accelerator at TIFF, as well as films directed by Lauren Grant, Jessica Hinkson, and Troy Miller. Additionally, Ashleigh holds the position of Festival Director and Head Programmer for the Canadian Film Fest since May 2020, along with a long-standing role as Director of Staffing at Simon Pure Marketing Inc. since November 2014. Previous roles include Co-Programmer at Canadian Film Fest and Creative Planner at Shaftesbury. Ashleigh's education includes studies at Queen's University, St Clement School, and Canada's National Ballet School.
