Simplify names Brian Kelleher as its first chief revenue officer
Investment advisors Simplify Asset Management has named Brian Kelleher as its new chief revenue officer. Mr. Kelleher will be based in New York and report to chief executive officer Paul Kim. He will lead the distribution and marketing to clients and advisors, and have responsibility for client success and overall experience.
“It’s a joy to work with passionate and talented professionals – Brian is an experienced, whip-smart, client-centered professional, a great human being, and a close friend. We are lucky to have him on our leadership team,” said Mr. Kim. “Our ambitions are simple and big – we want to simplify the complex for advisors. We are going to start with the biggest pain point for advisors’ portfolios today: the triple whammy of stretched risk asset valuations, record low yields, and unprecedented economic and geopolitical uncertainties. Longer term, we want to be the authority on options – basically we want to be the PIMCO of options.”
Mr. Kelleher comes to Simplify from PIMCO, where he served as senior vice president, ETF strategy. He has more than 20 years of experience in advising, and asset and wealth management.
“I am elated to join the team at Simplify. Paul and I worked closely together at PIMCO to build a successful ETF platform and I’m excited for another chance to innovate with an incredibly talented team with world-class intellectual property,” said Mr. Kelleher.
