Jim Arenstam

Jim Arenstam is an experienced Sr Firmware Engineer currently employed at SimpliSafe since July 2019. Prior to this role, Jim served as a Sr. Firmware Engineer at Mueller Systems from October 2013 to June 2019, where software and firmware were ported and developed for a Linux-based RF collector. Jim also held the position of Lead Software Engineer at GE Intelligent Platforms from September 2009 to September 2013, focusing on porting drivers for a PCIe NIC. Earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Emerson Network Power and Motorola, as well as a Computer Technician at Whalley Computer Associates and an Application Developer at NetPlane Systems. Jim holds a BS in Computer Engineering Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology and an AE in Computer Engineering Technology from Vermont Technical College.
