John Bache

John Bache is a highly experienced engineering professional with a focus on high voltage systems and automation. Currently serving as an HV & Automation Engineer at Unimetals Group since August 2024, John has also held a long-standing position as a High Voltage Electrical & Electronic Engineer at Sims Metal Management Limited since December 2008, where responsibilities include maintaining high and low voltage electrical systems for the Midlands Region. Previously, John contributed as a Yard Manager at Metal & Waste Recycling Ltd, a Software Design Engineer at Norcan Ltd, and a Scientific Officer at De La Rue, where expertise was applied to confidential banknote features. Educational qualifications include a City & Guilds Certificate in High Voltage Operational Safety and a HND in Physics, along with various specialized training certifications in safety and engineering.
