Christopher Chia

Christopher Chia is an experienced professional in material management and purchasing, currently serving as Assistant Manager of Material Management at Singapore Airlines since November 2019. With a solid background in vendor management, Christopher supervises a team and ensures delivery, quality, financial stability, and in-service performance through close collaboration with suppliers. Previously held positions at SIA Engineering Company included Assistant Manager Fleet Management, where responsibilities involved managing both aircraft and non-aircraft purchasing, as well as leading initiatives for the ETask project to improve operational workflows. Christopher began a career in purchasing and administration at Amos International (S) Pte Ltd and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Manufacturing from the University of Birmingham and a Diploma in Manufacturing from Singapore Polytechnic.
