Wong Hon Bing

Wong Hon Bing is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in network planning and engineering. Currently serving as the Head of IT (infra) at the Singapore Economic Development Board since January 2020, Wong previously held the position of Technical Manager at GIC from January 2013 to December 2019. Wong's career began at Singtel, where responsibilities included Senior Network Planning Manager for the ConnectPlus IP Engineering team, overseeing the design and deployment of the MPLS data network in the Asia Pacific and ANZ regions. Earlier roles at Singtel encompassed Network Planning Manager, Product Development Manager, and Systems Manager, focusing on the planning, development, and operational aspects of various IP services and value-added services. Wong Hon Bing holds an Honours degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National University of Singapore, attained between 1997 and 2000.
