Richa Garg

Richa Garg is an accomplished ML Software Engineer and Tech Lead at Amazon, overseeing the engineering charter for the Offline Defect Detection of the Rufus Gen-AI shopping assistant since September 2020. Richa has played a pivotal role in defining the technical roadmap and fostering collaborations across teams. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Visa, where Richa led the development of a data processing pipeline, and various projects at Microsoft India. Richa has also contributed to the Sitare Foundation as a Computer Science Mentor since December 2022 and completed a Software Engineering Internship at McKesson. Richa holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from UC San Diego and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
