Who We Are Looking For  

We are currently seeking an Account Director to support the Client Services team in meeting their objectives and delivering the highest quality client experience. The right candidate will leverage their expertise in content marketing , build strategic plans and introduce forward-thinking solutions that achieve clients’ objectives. The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading an efficient team to deliver work with clear business impact, all while maintaining an exceptional relationship with a range of clients and stakeholders.

What You’ll Do  

  • Key contributor or owner of client workstreams, projects and content programs; build trust with client contact and internal teams and are able to contextualize information to inform strategic recommendations.

  • Become a subject matter expert in the client’s field, speaking clearly to the competitive landscape, products, services, trends, and brand positions within the client’s industry.

  • Guide the team toward the achievement and delivery of client objectives; think through facts, diagnose a situation, and find an accurate and workable solution to help client’s business and team prosper.

  • Present creative concepts to client and lead end-to-end quality control and flawless execution of creative and editorial production.

  • Proactively provide client with strategic insight by staying abreast of industry trends, audience needs and project outputs. Work with Analytics & Insights team to evaluate programs and campaigns and are able to rearrange resources in order to maximize ROI to meet client objectives.

  • Build a cohesive team across agency partners, departments, disciplines, and offices where relevant. Mentor and grow direct reports to be stronger strategically and tactically.

  • Assess and recommend strategies for building efficiencies, streamlining operations, and enhancing the overall client and content experience.

  • Play an active role in the business development function; identify and maximize opportunities for organic growth within existing clients and growth within the business.

What You’ll Bring

  • Five-to-seven years of strategic planning and account management experience; agency setting preferred

  • Strong understanding of content strategy and experience implementing it across a variety of platforms and channels

  • Proven track record of developing strong client relationships and ability to approach business with confidence and awareness

  • Demonstrated ability to mine insights that form the basis of creative strategies and content programs

  • The ability to act quickly on your feet and an eagerness to think outside the box

  • Strong growth mindset with a capacity for delivering above and beyond the client’s initial ask

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills to sell concepts and strategy to current and prospective clients

  • Exceptionally personable and positive with strong communication and leadership skills; ability to mentor and nurture your team

  • Relentlessly curious with a positive, upbeat attitude!

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $75,000-180,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
