Peter Komornik

Peter Komornik is the CEO of Slido, a public speaking engagement platform. Peter was previously an industry analyst at Google Slovakia and Controlling Supervisor at Samsung Electronics LCD Slovakia.

Born in Bratislava, Peter graduated from the University of Economics with a degree in Finance and Accounting. Peter began their career at Samsung Electronics in 2007 as a Controlling Team Leader, responsible for setting up the financial controlling and reporting system for the newly opened plant.

In 2010, they moved to Samsung Electronics LCD Slovakia as Controlling Supervisor, where they were responsible for financial planning, reporting, expense control and cost allocation. Peter left Samsung in 2012 to join Google as an industry analyst in the newly opened local sales office.

At Google, they supported top AdWords customers in Slovakia. In 2014, they co-founded Slido with two other entrepreneurs. Slido is a public speaking engagement platform that helps people connect and engage with each other during events.

Peter is passionate about using technology to solve problems and make people's lives easier. Peter is a strong believer in the power of collaboration and believes that Slido can help make events more interactive and fun.

Peter Komornik was an MBA exchange student at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, where they studied marketing. Peter also has an MBA from Sungkyunkwan Graduate School of Business in marketing. Their undergraduate degree is in business from Faculty of Management at Comenius University. Peter also studied business as an exchange student at Faculty of Business at Oslo University College.
