Richard Cadungog

Richard Cadungog is an experienced telecommunications professional with a strong background in network operations and management. Currently serving as the NOC Regional Head at Smart Communications, Inc. since August 2011, Richard oversees the network operations for major networks including SMART Telecom and Talk 'n Text, managing various technologies such as 2G, 3G, 4G-LTE, 5G, WiFi, and FEMTO. Prior to this role, Richard held the position of NSS/Core Network Senior Manager at Afghan Wireless from May 2003 to December 2010, where responsibilities included network core integration and modernization projects. Earlier experience includes serving as the NOC OIC-Engineer at Globe Telecom from January 1999 to May 2003 and as an SSS Engineer at Isla Communication from June 1996 to December 1999. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of San Carlos.
