Ryan Mitz is a seasoned professional in the commercial real estate sector with extensive experience in leasing and sales. Currently serving as Vice President of Leasing at SmartCentres REIT since July 2018, Ryan leads a team to develop and implement effective leasing strategies across a diverse portfolio. Prior to this role, Ryan was Vice President of Commercial Leasing and Sales at Liberty Development Corporation, managing significant leasing activities for over 2 million square feet of commercial space. Ryan also held the position of Director of Leasing at RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust, overseeing a portfolio of properties and mentoring junior leasing professionals. Ryan began a career in marketing as an Assistant Brand Manager at Kellogg Canada Inc. and holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Western University.
