Dima Semyushkin

Dima Semyushkin has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Starting from 2007, they began their career at SofIT Labs as an intern and eventually worked their way up to becoming a middle software developer. During this time, they gained experience in building production-grade and experimental apps, including web portals, web services, and desktop and mobile applications.

In 2012, Dima co-founded Hosting Video, where they developed a service for storing and selling access to videos. Dima built a custom PHP engine and integrated multiple external services.

From 2013 to 2014, they worked at EXANTE as a web developer, creating internal SPA applications using Angular and maintaining an Erlang-based service for storing and distributing ticker meta-information.

In 2014, Dima joined Data Laboratory as a lead web developer and led the development of an Angular-based SPA used for bond analysis and visualization. Dima also engineered and integrated a React- and D3-based data visualization framework for the app.

In 2017, they worked as a web developer at Pleeco before joining Tango Me in 2019. At Tango Me, Dima held multiple positions, starting as a web developer and later transitioning to roles as an engineering team lead in different domains, including web, moderation, and core services. In these roles, they ensured system security, reduced maintenance costs, increased productivity, and fixed quality of life issues.

Currently, Dima is working at Smartly.io as an engineering team lead, where they lead a team and plays a vital role in developing and managing projects.

Dima Semyushkin attended ITMO University from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a Specialist degree in Information systems and technologies.
