Nkeiruka Obi is the current VP & Regional Director, Africa at Smile Train. Nkeiruka has over 20 years of experience in the financial sector. Prior to joining Smile Train, they worked as a treasury at Diamond Bank plc from January 2002 to January 2007. Nkeiruka also worked as a credit and marketing officer at Allstates Trust Bank from January 1997 to January 2003. In their current role, they are responsible for leading Smile Train's Africa programs and initiatives.

Nkeiruka Obi has a doctorate from the University of Calabar and a Doctor of Philosophy from Walden University.

Nkeiruka Obi reports to Susannah Schaefer, Executive Vice Chair, President & CEO. Nkeiruka Obi works with Lori Nilsen - Senior Director, Marketing Technology, Vivian Lewis - VP, Human Resources, and Rich Confrey - Senior Director, Development.
