Danielle Soens

Danielle Soens has extensive experience in research and development within the food industry, currently serving as Research And Development Manager at Smithfield Foods since July 2017, after progressing from Associate Research and Development Manager and Research And Development Scientist roles. Prior experience includes positions as Product Development Scientist at The Kraft Heinz Company and Research and Development Project Lead at West Liberty Foods. Danielle also worked as a Food Technologist at Birchwood Foods and began a career in customer service with Weber's Meats. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences with a focus on Meat and Livestock Management from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and a Bachelor of Science from the Sausage and Processed Meats Short Course at Iowa State University.
