Annelise Heeringa

Annelise Heeringa is an experienced BIM Technologist currently with SmithGroup since April 2022. Prior to this role, Annelise served as a Senior Designer at JERDE, where significant contributions included creating 3D Revit models for a large mixed-use development project in Los Angeles. Annelise's background also includes positions as Architectural Designer II at HED, where involvement in BIM coordination for the CENTURY PLAZA HOTEL took place, and as an Architectural Intern at SDI Structures, focusing on Revit modeling and construction document preparation. Educational qualifications consist of a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University. Annelise has also held various research and instructional roles during academic tenure, further showcasing a strong foundation in both architectural design and engineering principles.
