Chuck Fries

Chuck Fries has extensive work experience in various roles related to supply chain management and operations. Chuck is currently serving as the Vice President Global Planning and Logistics at SMTC Corporation, where they oversee sales, operations, and planning processes for multiple manufacturing sites across different countries. Prior to this, Chuck held the position of Managing Director at Fries & Associates LLC, where they provided supply chain and business process optimization support to startup diversity businesses. Chuck also worked at Avnet Technology Solutions as the Vice President Material Operations, leading the supply chain operations team and improving customer experience. Additionally, Chuck has experience working at Motorola as the Global Sourcing and Purchasing Manager, where they developed sourcing strategies and managed global supplier relationships. Chuck began their career at Michelin as the Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Manager, where they were responsible for directing manufacturing operations and achieving production goals.

Chuck Fries holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Chuck also has an MBA in Business Management from Clemson University.
