Chris Pouliot

VP, Data Science & Analytics at Snowflake

Chris Pouliot is the Vice President of Data Science & Analytics at Snowflake. Chris has over fifteen years of experience in data science and artificial intelligence. Chris got their start in the industry working at startups, where they were a member of the board of advisors for several venture-funded startups. In 2013, Chris joined Lyft as their Vice President of Data Science. At Lyft, Chris built a world-class team of data scientists that developed the algorithms that power the Lyft app, including dispatch, ETA prediction, Prime-Time dynamic pricing, Lyft Line matching and pricing, fraud prevention, and Ad-tech. In 2016, Chris left Lyft to join NIO as their Vice President of Artificial Intelligence. At NIO, Chris started the Data Science/AI team from scratch and built it into a team of 25 AI scientists and engineers. After a reorg, Chris led a team of 60 scientists and engineers responsible for developing the algorithms for L4 autonomous driving (perception, prediction, path planning, and controls). Chris left NIO in 2019 to join Snowflake as their Vice President of Data Science & Analytics.

Chris Pouliot has a MS in Statistics and a MS in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University. Chris also has an SM in Aero/Astro from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an SB in Aero/Astro from the same school. Chris attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for their undergraduate degree and Exeter High School in Exeter, NH for their secondary education.

Chris Pouliot reports to Thierry Cruanes, CTO & Co-Founder. Chris Pouliot works with and Alice Wang - Vice President, Security Field CTO.
