Richard Lumsden

Richard Lumsden is the Vice President of Business Development at SOCi. Richard has extensive experience in business development and strategic partnerships, having served in various executive roles at SinglePlatform, Endurance International Group, and Truaxis, Inc.

Lumsden began their career at Truaxis, Inc., where they were a founding member of the merchant sales function. Richard was responsible for selling StatementRewards into the Top 100 US Brands and restaurants, and they consistently exceeded their sales goals. In 2012, Truaxis was acquired by MasterCard.

After the acquisition, Lumsden transitioned to SinglePlatform as the Vice President of Business Development & Publishers. Richard led the Business Development, Strategy, and Marketing departments and was part of the executive team that oversaw the day-to-day running of SinglePlatform. In 2016, SinglePlatform was acquired by Endurance International Group, and Lumsden continued working with Endurance in a similar capacity until 2017.

In their current role at SOCi, Lumsden is responsible for overseeing SOCi’s business development efforts and forging partnerships with other businesses. Richard has successfully spearheaded SOCi’s expansion into new markets and helped SOCi become a leading platform for managing social media content.

Richard Lumsden attended the University of Bath, where they studied social sciences and economics, and Glenalmond College.

They are on a team with Eric Jenny - Chief Financial Officer, Alo Sarv - Chief Technology Officer, and Monica Ho - Chief Marketing Officer. Their manager is Afif Khoury, Founder & CEO.
