Karen Oakey

Karen Oakey is the Head of People Operations at Soda Health. Prior to their current role, they served as the Director of Human Resources at Fracture, ViaPath (formerly GTL), and Shadow Health, Inc. In their previous roles, Karen was responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the human resources function, including recruitment, benefits, compensation, employee relations, and training and development. Karen has a proven track record of success in improving organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. Karen is a strategic thinker and problem solver who is able to develop creative solutions to complex challenges. Karen is a strong communicator and collaborator who is able to build relationships with employees at all levels of an organization.

Karen Oakey has a Masters of Science in Human Resource Management from the University of Scranton, a Bachelors in Marine Science & Biology from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, and a High School Diploma in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Honesdale High School.

Karen Oakey reports to Jared Dauman, Co-Founder & Head, Operations.
