Kelli Keough joins SoFi as the EVP, Group Business Unit Leader for Spend, Invest, Protect and Save. She will be based in NYC, reporting to Anthony Noto.

Kelli joins SoFi from J.P. Morgan Chase, where she led the launch of J.P. Morgan’s Self-Directed brokerage channel and automated investing platform and product teams. She also led the launch of J.P. Morgan’s U.S. and international digital investing and private banking platforms. She was a Director of the JPMorgan Securities, LLC Board (broker/dealer), and she was the Executive Sponsor for JPMWM Women on the Move and the lead for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Before joining J.P. Morgan in 2015, Kelli was a Senior Vice President at Charles Schwab, where she led the business and client experience, digital platforms and education for Schwab’s active trading, self-directed and global trading clients. She was also responsible for Schwab’s OptionsXpress subsidiary, a leading retail derivatives firm, sat on the Charles Schwab Retail Leadership Team, and was responsible for the Austin location. Prior to this role, Kelli served as Chief Marketing Officer at CyberTrader, where she led the merger of CyberTrader into Schwab.

Before coming to Schwab, Kelli worked with a variety of startup and financial service companies. Kelli was a professor of Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin before starting her 25-year career in financial services.

Kelli is currently a Director on the board of Commonwealth, a nonprofit focused on improving financial wellness and opportunities for underrepresented groups, as well as on the Strategic Advisory Board of FTV Capital.

After growing up in Northern Idaho, Kelli received her bachelor’s degree with honors from Yale, and her master’s and doctorate degrees in Social Psychology from Stanford. Kelli currently lives in Westchester County, New York. In her free time, she can be found on the lake boating, waterskiing and paddle boarding with her husband, daughter and son and Australian Shepherd.

David Bohm is the current Chief Compliance Officer at [SoFi](/org/sofi). David has also served as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at [HamsaPay](/org/hamsapay) from November 2021 to October 2022, and as the Group Vice President, Strategy and Operations (People Process and Technology) at [Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco](/org/federal-reserve-bank-of-san-francisco) from November 2018 to March 2021. 

Bohm has been instrumental in leading risk and compliance initiatives at both [HamsaPay](/org/hamsapay) and the [Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco](/org/federal-reserve-bank-of-san-francisco). David has established all global and local policies for credit, AML/CFT, ops risk, etc. at [HamsaPay](/org/hamsapay), and has provided strategic insights to the Federal Reserve System governance for supervisory information and technology spending that has resulted in a 20% reduction in maintenance expense system-wide.

Bohm has also been responsible for overseeing the departments responsible for strategic planning, policy, budget and forecasting, professional learning, conflicts and ethics, supervisory operations, business technology, quality assurance, project management and communications for the Supervision and Credit function at the [Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco](/org/federal-reserve-bank-of-san-francisco). Under their leadership, the Supervision team has undergone a cultural transformation to become a more open and inclusive workplace. 

Bohm is a highly effective administrator with a proven track record of successful risk and compliance management in both the private and public sector. David's experience will be invaluable in their current role at [SoFi](/org/sofi).

Tong Han is the current Vice President and Head of Collections Center of Excellence at [SoFi](/org/sofi). Tong has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, specifically in collections and risk management. 

Han began their career in 1999 as a Manager of Financial Modeling at Ocwen Financial Co. Tong then joined [HSBC](/org/hsbc) in December 1999 as a Senior Manager of Risk Management. In November 2003, they switched to Citi and became the Director of Risk Operations for Citi's North America Consumer Bank (NACB). Han left Citi in May 2015 to join Wells Fargo as the Senior Vice President and Head of Collections & Recovery Risk Management for Consumer Credit Solution (CCS). Tong stayed in this position until November 2021 when they joined [SoFi](/org/sofi) as the Senior Director of Risk Management for Fraud Prevention. In October 2022, they were promoted to their current position as the Vice President and Head of Collections Center of Excellence. 

Han has a proven track record in collections and risk management. Tong is an expert in the field and has helped their previous companies save millions of dollars by preventing fraud and reducing losses. Her experience and knowledge make their an asset to [SoFi](/org/sofi), and they are expected to continue to help the company grow and succeed.

Jeremy Rishel is the current Chief Technology Officer at [SoFi](/org/sofi). Jeremy has previously held positions as the SVP of Engineering, Products & Data at Bluefin Labs, the Chief Technology Officer at [aPriori](/org/apriori), and the Development Manager at i2. Jeremy started their career as a Software Engineer at UniFirst Corporation in 2001. 

Rishel has been instrumental in introducing premium live content to Twitter in 2016, as well as building Twitter Science from 2015-2016. Jeremy has also helped shape the future of logistics as the VP Engineering at [DoorDash](/org/doordash) from October 2017 to April 2018. In their current role at [SoFi](/org/sofi), Rishel is responsible for leading technology and product development efforts.

Jeremy Rishel attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Philosophy. Jeremy then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Prior to [Airbnb](/org/airbnb), Ms. Liang served as Chief Product Officer at Jive Software and spent 11 years at IBM in a number of technology and professional services roles. Ahmed is the Head of Active Investments department for the [Qatar Investment Authority](/org/qatar-investment-authority). He oversees QIA’s direct sector teams as well as fund investments in the Equity, Fixed Income, Hedge Funds, Private Equity and Real Estate asset classes. Prior to joining QIA, Ahmed worked at EFG-Hermes a regional asset manager and before that at consulting firm Booz & Co. advising financial services clients on strategy, private equity investment opportunities, and organization structures. Rob Lavet is the current General Counsel at [SoFi](/org/sofi). Prior to this, they were a Partner at Powers, Pyles, Sutter & Verville, P.C. from July 2008 to September 2012. Rob has also served as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at [Sallie Mae](/org/sallie-mae) from January 1992 to December 2008 and as a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice from September 1982 to September 1985.

Lavet has built a successful career representing numerous financial institutions and financial services firms. Rob has expertise in all aspects of consumer credit and has represented educational institutions and financial institutions in responding to government investigations, including State Attorney General Investigations. Rob has also successfully represented financial services companies in False Claims Act lawsuits.

Davin Chow is the current Vice President of Risk Strategy at [SoFi](/org/sofi). Davin has also previously held the position of Vice President, Credit Card Business Lead at [SoFi](/org/sofi) from January 2017 to December 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Visa as the Head of U.S. Consumer Credit from January 2011 to December 2017. In this role, they were responsible for strategy development, technology build, marketing execution, sales pipeline management and client deployment for Visa's credit card products.

David Thompson is the current VP of Engineering at [SoFi](/org/sofi). Prior to joining [SoFi](/org/sofi), David was the Sr. Software Architect at Tru Student from October 2006 to May 2014. In this role, David was responsible for software development for a financial institution that sells and services guaranteed student loans. David's duties included developing, managing, and testing new Imaging system and currently integrating it with other business operations. David also developed new company procedures and applications saving thousands of company work hours. In addition, they managed several large high-profile projects that involved large teams of enterprise data modelers, data team members, software engineers, quality assurance testers, and end-users. David also helped write many of the company’s web security policies and lead the projects to secure web applications. David also pushed the company to look at new technologies for ways to save money and generate new business.

Prior to joining Tru Student, David was the President of Visualization and Imagery Solutions, Inc. from January 1999 to December 2015. In this role, David was responsible for leading a team of software engineers in the development of visualization and imagery solutions for government and commercial clients. David also oversaw the financial management of the company and was responsible for business development and marketing initiatives.

Before joining Visualization and Imagery Solutions, David was a Corporate Trainer at IBM from September 1997 to December 1999. In this role, they were responsible for providing training to IBM employees on various software products.

David began their career as a Research Assistant at The [University of Montana](/org/university-of-montana) from August 1994 to May 2002. In this role, they conducted research on various topics related to computer science and engineering.

Sterling Zumbrunn is the Senior Director of EPD, ECI at [SoFi](/org/sofi). Sterling has over 10 years of experience in product management and has held leadership positions at Skype, SmartThings, and [Bluechip Systems](/org/bluechip-systems).

Sterling has a track record of success in developing and executing product strategies that have resulted in significant growth for their companies. At Skype, they led the Core UX and Engagement teams and drove the evolution of the company's iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux client software. Their work resulted in Skype becoming one of the most popular messaging apps in the world with over 1 billion downloads.

At SmartThings, Sterling was responsible for partnerships with leading smart home products including Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Philips Hue smart lights, Netgear Arlo cameras, Yale locks, and many more. Sterling helped grow the company from a startup to being acquired by Samsung.

At [Bluechip Systems](/org/bluechip-systems), Sterling worked directly with the President to develop products and business plans for the company's next generation of security products. Sterling also worked with Engineering teams on developing apps that offered high levels of data encryption.

Sterling has a proven track record in product management and is a leader in their field. Sterling is passionate about developing products that improve people's lives and make their homes safer and more secure.

Shawn Burke is a Senior Principal Engineer at [SoFi](/org/sofi). Shawn was previously a Senior Staff Engineer at [Uber](/org/uber) from June 2015 to January 2021. Prior to that, they were the CTO of Buddy Platform, Inc. from February 2013 to June 2015. Shawn has also worked at Microsoft from January 1998 to January 2012, where they held various positions including Software Engineer, Eng Manager, and Architect. In their most recent role at Microsoft, they were the Dev Lead for Azure. Shawn is responsible for the end-to-end API surface for WP7 and has built vision, team, and product from scratch. Shawn has also orchestrated all parts of the effort to release the .NET Framework Source code, which received a Gold Star Award.

Ryan Hall is the current Vice President of Sofi Bank at [SoFi](/org/sofi). In June 2011, they became a Summer Associate Investment Banking at Barclays Capital where they were focused on M&A transactions and mortgage backed security products. Chad Lafontaine is the Vice President of Engineering at [SoFi](/org/sofi). Chad has been with the company since August 2018 and in their current role for just over two years. Prior to [SoFi](/org/sofi), Chad was with [JPMorgan Chase](/org/jpmorgan-chase) for nearly eight years, where they held the title of Executive Director. Chad has also worked as a software engineer for Organic and Washington Mutual. Chad began their career as a software developer for Black Pearl in 1998.

Prior to Goldman he held roles in financial services at Discover and CapitalOne, and he currently acts as an angel investor to tech startups.

Mike Bingle is a Managing Partner and Managing Director at [Silver Lake](/org/silver-lake). Magdalena Yeşil is a founder, entrepreneur, and venture capitalist of many of the world’s top technology companies, including [Salesforce](/org/salesforce), where she was the first investor and founding board member. She is a former general partner at [U.S. Venture Partners](/org/u-s-venture-partners), where she oversaw investments in more than thirty early-stage companies and served on the boards of many. A technology pioneer, Ms. Yeşil founded three of the first companies dedicated to commercializing Internet access, e-commerce infrastructure, and electronic payments. UUnet, CyberCash, and MarketPay earned her the Entrepreneur of the Year title from Red Herring in 1997. She is a founder of Broadway Angels, a group of female venture capitalists and angel investors. Ms. Yeşil is currently working on her fourth startup, DriveInformed, a technology company bringing trust and transparency to the auto finance industry. Her career spans large, global organizations with fast-paced growth environments, and she has a breadth of experience building teams and business. She previously spent 14 years at [Stryker](/org/stryker), where she began her career in product operations and business unit leadership before she transitioned into several HR functions.

Steven Freiberg is a long term veteran of the financial services sector, having held multiple positions at [Citigroup](/org/citigroup) (NYSE:C) over a 30 year period including serving as the Co-Chairman and CEO of [Citigroup](/org/citigroup)’s Global Consumer Group, and most recently as the CEO of E*TRADE Financial Corporation (NASDAQ:ETFC) where he led the company back to profitability in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis. He is the founder of Grand Vista Partners, the Freiberg Family Investment Office, a Board member of Fair Square Financial, MasterCard (NYSE:MA), [OANDA](/org/oanda), Purchasing Power, and Regional Management (NYSE:RM), and a senior advisor to several companies including The Boston Consulting Group and [Verisk Analytics](/org/verisk-analytics) (NASDAQ:VRSK). Anthony is the CEO of [SoFi](/org/sofi) and serves on its board of directors. Before joining [SoFi](/org/sofi), he served as chief operating officer of Twitter since November 2016, and as its chief financial officer when joining the company in July 2014. Prior to Twitter, Anthony served for almost four years as co-head of global TMT investment banking at [Goldman Sachs](/org/goldman-sachs). He joined [Goldman Sachs](/org/goldman-sachs) in 1999, was named partner in 2004, and served as the head of communications media and Internet equity research. Before returning to Goldman, Anthony spent almost three years as chief financial officer of the National Football League.

Ruzwana has been named one of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Entrepreneurs, [Fast Company](/org/fastcompany)’s 100 Most Creative People in Business and was a Finalist for E&Y’s Entrepreneur of the Year. Harvey M. Schwartz is a business leader, investor and philanthropist. For the past 30+ years, Harvey’s professional focus has centered on tackling complex financial and business challenges, innovating and strengthening financial markets and developing leaders. Harvey retired from [Goldman Sachs](/org/goldman-sachs) Group, Inc. following 20+ distinguished years at the company where he oversaw sales and trading, finance, technology and operations. He completed his tenure as the firm’s President and Co-Chief Operating Officer. He joined [Goldman Sachs](/org/goldman-sachs) in 1997 and subsequently held numerous senior leadership positions including, Chief Financial Officer, Global Co-Head of the Securities Division, Head of Securities Division Sales, Head of North American Sales and Co-Head of the Americas Financing Group. He additionally served as a member of the firm’s Management Committee and co-headed its Risk Committee, Steering Committee on Regulatory Reform and Finance Committee. Harvey established the firm’s Investment Policy Committee on which he also served as a member. Prior to [Goldman Sachs](/org/goldman-sachs), Harvey spent a decade working at several other financial firms including at Citicorp from 1990 through 1997. As both an investor and advisor, he is currently involved in a range of investment and philanthropic endeavors focused on physical and mental health management and developing future business leaders, including women and young people seeking a career in finance. Among his efforts, Harvey founded and supports a pioneering program for students at his alma mater [Rutgers University](/org/rutgers-university) that provides them with real-life financial services experience through internships, professional networking opportunities and mentorship. Katie is SoFi’s SVP and Business Unit Leader for the Member Business Unit. Prior to joining SoFi, she was the General Manager of Blockchain.com’s Wallet. Before Blockchain.com, she was a General Manager on Twitter’s live video business, and led Twitter’s Consumer Product and Strategic Partnerships function. Previously, Katie spent over 5 years at American Express, including working on the Amex mobile app, and consulted with the Boston Consulting Group. She started her career at Lehman Brothers in Sales and Trading, focusing on Interest Rate derivatives.

Katie holds an MBA from Duke Business School, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University.

John Gardner, CFA, is the Business Head, Invest at [SoFi](/org/sofi), where he’s responsible for the development for [SoFi](/org/sofi)’s investment, insurance and advisory services platforms. Prior to [SoFi](/org/sofi), John was a Co-founder & CFO of LearnVest, a subscription based financial planning platform acquired by [Northwestern Mutual](/org/northwestern-mutual) in 2015. He also was a co-founder of Cabezon Investment Group, a Global Macro Hedge fund.

John Gardner

Eugenia Gibbons joined [SoFi](/org/sofi) in August 2018 and serves as the business head of [SoFi](/org/sofi) Money. Prior to [SoFi](/org/sofi), Eugenia led global digital sales operations at BBVA, where she oversaw digital sales and marketing, as well as customer engagement. Prior to joining BBVA she spent nearly a decade at [Bank of America](/org/bank-of-america), with previous roles at [Liberty Mutual](/org/liberty-mutual), Hexacta and [Accenture](/org/accenture).

Technology and innovation leader Derek White brings to Galileo and its clients more than 20 years experience building and transforming financial services.

He was appointed Galileo CEO on June 1, 2021, only the second CEO in Galileo’s 20+-year history. He succeeded Galileo founder and fintech visionary Clay Wilkes, who now serves as the company’s vice chair.

Prior to joining Galileo, Derek was vice president of Global Financial Services at Google Cloud, responsible for partnering with banks, insurance companies, fintechs and other financial services entities to redefine their core business units and transition to leading-edge, digital-first operations.

Earlier in his career, he was vice chair and chief digital officer for U.S. Bank, global head of client solutions for BBVA and chief design and digital officer at Barclays. He also served as the technology ambassador for London, actively promoting the U.K. market as a fintech capital.

Derek holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree from Utah State University. He lives in Utah with his wife and their four children.

Derek White

As Head of Operations, Micah oversees [SoFi](/org/sofi)’s operational staff that help get your money right. He joined [SoFi](/org/sofi) from Citi, where he led Cardmember Services for Citi’s U.S. credit card business. Prior to that role, Micah held a number of leadership roles within Citi’s Global Consumer Business. Before joining Citi, Micah was an infantry officer in the U.S. Army, and spent time abroad in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Micah holds a bachelor’s degree from The Citadel, and earned his MBA from The University of Florida.

Micah Heavener

Chad is a senior strategic and operational leader with over 25 years of experience across industry leading organizations, primarily in the financial services.  Chad has a broad range of skills and experiences including strategy, finance, operations, omni-channel distribution and large-scale organizational leadership, with a passion for the customer experience.

Chad was most recently the President of USAA Bank and served as the Vice Chairman of the Bank’s Board of Directors. He provided executive leadership for nearly 10,000 employees serving over 9 million members with $100 billion in assets delivering $6 billion in annual revenue.  The Bank offers a full range of deposit, credit card, payments, consumer lending and real estate lending products and services delivered through a highly digital/omni-channel distribution strategy.

Prior to joining USAA, Chad served as Executive Vice President, Head of Consumer and Business Banking for Fifth Third Bank where he was a member of their senior Enterprise Committee. In that role, he led retail banking, small business, business banking, mortgage, digital banking, indirect auto lending, consumer credit operations, and business controls. Prior to Fifth Third, Chad held a variety of leadership roles at JPMorgan Chase, including Chief Financial Officer for the $8+ billion revenue Consumer Bank; Head of the Retail Distribution Network representing over 5,100 branch locations and 16,000 ATMs; and Head of Branch Administration

In addition to his time in the banking industry, Chad was an Associate Principal with McKinsey & Company where he primarily advised clients in financial services. Chad was also an Associate at Goldman Sachs & Co in New York.  Chad is a veteran having served on active duty in the United States Army in the 25th Infantry Division where he was Airborne, Air Assault and Ranger-qualified. 

Chad received his MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BS in Business Economics and Public Policy from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business where he was also a Distinguished Military Graduate.

Jennifer is the Executive Vice President overseeing the Growth Businesses and Business Development. Prior to joining SoFi, she was the Chief Marketing Officer of Zynga, as well as several consumer technology companies, including telemedicine leader Doctor On Demand. Jennifer spent almost a decade in leadership positions at The Clorox Company, running well-known household-name brands. She began her career in consulting covering consumer and media at Arthur Andersen. 

Jennifer holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley. She is a licensed CPA.

Dick Costolo is a co-managing partner of [01 Advisors](/org/01a). Prior to co-founding [01 Advisors](/org/01a), he was CEO of Twitter from 2010 to 2015 and has been Founder and CEO of multiple startups, including FeedBurner, which was acquired by Google in 2007. The former improv comedian has been a consultant on HBO’s “Silicon Valley” and holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.

Chris Lapointe is [SoFi](/org/sofi)’s Interim CFO. He joined from [Uber](/org/uber) Technologies where he was the Global Head of FP&A, Corporate Finance and FinTech. Prior to [Uber](/org/uber), Chris was Vice President of TMT Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs.

Manages his own firm, Thompson Hutton LLC, which invests in venture capital and private equity transactions focused on financial services and associated information technology. Former CEO of White Mountains Re Group and has served as Board member of four major companies, including three public companies. Tom received an MBA with Distinction from [Harvard Business School](/org/harvard-business-school) as well as an MS in Mechanical Engineering and BA in Economics from [Stanford University](/org/stanford).

Webster joins SoFi from Citigroup, where he was Chief Risk Officer for its U.S. Retail Bank and Mortgage business and led Global Regulatory Analytics. Prior to that, he spent a decade at Toyota Financial Services in senior risk management and operational roles, ultimately serving as Managing Director for Risk Management and Data Science for the company's United States and Americas Region business.

Prior to [Intuit](/org/intuit), Lauren held marketing leadership positions at [Procter & Gamble](/org/procter-gamble), achieving impressive results leading a number of household brands at different stages of growth and innovation.

Bill Tanona serves as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development & Investor Relations, providing planning, advisory and execution leadership on mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments and joint ventures. Prior to [SoFi](/org/sofi), Bill was the President, CFO and Treasurer of GSV Capital Corp, a late-stage publicly traded venture capital fund. Prior to joining GSV, Bill spent nearly two decades at J.P. Morgan, [Goldman Sachs](/org/goldman-sachs), UBS and [Fortress Investment Group](/org/fortress-investment-group-llc).
