Sojern welcomes Aman Kothari as Chief Financial Officer, Sojern

Travel marketing company Sojern has hired Aman Kothari as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Kothari will be responsible for all of the firm’s financial matters, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, tax, and treasury.

"Aman's background scaling late-stage growth companies is exactly what we need to take us through the next stage of our journey," said Sojern CEO Mark Rabe. "I couldn't be more excited to have him join the team."

Mr. Kothari brings more than 30 years of financial experience to his new role, most recently as CFO at Auction.com, where he co-led the successful sale of the company. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President, Global Controller and Chief Accounting Officer at Yahoo!.

"Sojern has proven there is tremendous opportunity for growth at the intersection of digital marketing and online travel distribution,” said Mr. Kothari. “They have the right team and solutions in place to capitalize on the opportunity and come back even stronger post pandemic. Sojern names Nancy Koshiyama Chief People Officer

Digital marketing platform Sojern has hired Nancy Koshiyama as its new Chief People Officer. In her role, Ms. Koshiyama will be responsible for the company’s overall people strategy, as well as operations and wellness. "People have always been our greatest asset and differentiator, which is why we're excited to have someone like Nancy onboard. She has a vast array of experience and will be key in helping build an ever stronger, happier team of Sojernistas around the world," said Sojern CEO Mark Rabe. "We're excited for Nancy to help guide us through the next phase of working during—and beyond—a pandemic, and even more excited for her to be an advocate and resource for our global team." Ms. Koshiyama has nearly 30 years of experience in human resources, most recently as SVP of People for healthcare company Prealize Health. She has held executive positions in startups and global tech companies such as TiVo, Hewlett Packard, Capsilon, and Marin Software. "COVID-19 has not been kind to the travel industry and that includes Sojern, but the company has persevered and is back to a growth mindset. I look forward to working with the team to build the future of Sojern and that starts with our most important asset—people," said Ms. Koshiyama.
