Shinji Ueda

Shinji Ueda has extensive experience in executive leadership and corporate management, currently serving on the Board of Directors of Tellus, Inc. and BBSakura Networks, Inc., and as an Executive Officer at Sakura Internet Inc since 2018. Ueda's tenure at Sojitz Corporation spans over a decade, holding various positions including Assistant General Manager, Manager, and Deputy Manager, focusing on managing portfolio companies and corporate-venture capital in Silicon Valley. Notable past roles include Director at Nissho Electronics USA, where Ueda launched a Silicon Valley office, and Senior Manager at Sojitz Corporation of America, dedicating efforts to invest in startups. Ueda also contributed to the turnaround of ADV Films as Director and Vice President and was a founding member of EBISTRADE Inc., jointly established by Sojitz Corporation and NTT Resonant. Educationally, Ueda holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Keio University.
