Jamie Harkrider

Jamie Harkrider is the current Chief Strategy Officer at Sojourn. Prior to this, they worked as an Account Executive at CARTO from July 2019 to February 2020. In this role, they represented CARTO on various panels and round tables discussing technologies such as 5G and IoT. Jamie also cultivated relationships with various City departments in order to expand accounts and worked with cross-functional teams to execute complex application builds.

From May 2019 to May 2020, Jamie worked in product management and growth strategy for select start-ups. During this time, they also consulted on ROI research for investment strategy at the Office of Economic Vitality from January 2019 to June 2019.

Jamie has a wealth of experience in sales, data science, analytics, cloud infrastructure, and data streams. Jamie is a strategic thinker with the ability to close both transactional and consultative deals.

Jamie Harkrider holds a Master of Science in Technology Commercialization from the Texas McCombs School of Business as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in International Business/Trade/Commerce from Sam Houston State University. Jamie is also certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and by the Scrum Alliance as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).

They are on a team with and Matt Freie - COO & Co-Founder. Their manager is Sven Mesecke, CEO & Co-Founder.
