Arrey John Arrey

Arrey John Arrey is a seasoned telecommunications professional with extensive experience in submarine cable management and network operations. Currently serving as the Submarine Cable Landing Station Operations and Maintenance Manager at Somcable Ltd. since May 2022, Arrey leads infrastructure preparation for new submarine cable projects and manages various telecommunications equipment and facility systems. Prior roles include Deputy Director and Data Centers Supervisor at Viettel Cameroun S.A., and various engineering and consulting positions at companies such as Hy-Classe Group Inc, CLAIRTEL BUSINESS SERVICE, Vodacom, and CAMTEL, where responsibilities ranged from network optimization and project management to technical consulting and incident handling. Arrey holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications & ICT from Ecole Nationale Supérieure Polytechnique de Douala and a Baccalaureat Technique in Electrical Technology from Lycée Technique de Kumba.
