Melissa Morales

Melissa Morales is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in political engagement and organizational management. Currently serving as President of Somos Votantes since January 2019, Morales has played a pivotal role in empowering Latino communities to participate in democracy through robust engagement initiatives. Previous roles include Executive Director of SEIU Florida, where responsibilities encompassed leading political campaigns and overseeing budget development, and State Director for Win Justice, managing a $9 million campaign during the 2018 midterm elections. Morales's early career included positions as a Policy Analyst at the National Community Reinvestment Coalition and experience in campaign strategy with The Pivot Group. Morales holds a Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Kansas State University.
