Gareth Barker

Gareth Barker is an experienced marketing professional currently serving as Senior Director of Product Management and Senior Director of Global Store and Services Marketing at Sony Interactive Entertainment since March 2018. Gareth leads Global Marketing for the PlayStation Store, Plus, Now, and Music & Video businesses. Prior to this role, Gareth held several positions at UKTV from January 2015 to February 2018, including Consumer Marketing Director and Head of Consumer Marketing, overseeing marketing efforts for various broadcast brands. Additionally, Gareth was an Executive Committee Member at ISBA and held multiple marketing positions at Procter & Gamble from September 2005 to January 2015. Gareth began a career in marketing as Director of Commercial Development and Communications at the University of Warwick Students' Union after earning a BA (Joint Hons) in Philosophy & Literature from the University of Warwick in 2004.
