Julia Kiss Sekhon Tep

Julia Kiss Sekhon TEP currently serves as the Director and Valuation and Heritage Manager at Sotheby's since December 2020, after previously holding the position of Deputy Director in the same department. Prior experience includes various roles at Christie's from September 2008 to August 2020, including Associate Director and Account Manager focusing on Estates, Appraisals & Valuations and Heritage & Taxation. Julia also worked briefly as a Sales Associate in the Antique Furniture Department at Harrods in 2008 and completed an internship at Sotheby's in 2006. Educational achievements include a STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates and a STEP Foundation Certificate, alongside a Master's in Historic Interiors and Decorative Arts from Wallace Collection & Buckingham University, and a BA in History of Art with a focus on Furniture History from the University of St Andrews. Additional coursework includes studies at the University of Oxford and Istituto Europeo di Firenze.
