Karl Herrick

Karl Herrick, PE, currently serves as the SCADA and Communications Engineering Manager at Sound Transit since May 2014, contributing to the support of critical operational systems essential for train operations, including SCADA, control systems, and emergency systems. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Systems Engineer in Operational Technology at Sound Transit, Mechanical/Controls Engineer, and Instrumentation and Controls Engineering Consultant at Brown and Caldwell, focusing on process control in wastewater and water industries. Earlier career highlights include serving as Owner and Sales Engineer for Technical Sales-NW and Herrick Company, respectively, both representing SCADA and automation solutions for the electric utility sector. Karl Herrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington and has additional educational history at Eastern Washington University.
