Cary Huang

Cary Huang is an experienced journalist currently serving as a Senior Writer and Columnist at the South China Morning Post (SCMP) since December 2004, where also holds the position of Beijing Bureau Chief. Prior to SCMP, Cary Huang worked at The Standard from May 1990 to 2004, fulfilling roles as China Editor and Chief Reporter. Earlier career contributions include serving as Chief Editor at China Business Monthly and China Economic News Weekly from August 1987 to May 1990. Educational qualifications include a BA in International Relations and Affairs from Fudan University, a visiting scholar stint at The University of Hong Kong, and a Master's degree in International Relations from the College of Foreign Affairs. Additionally, Cary Huang has teaching experience at Sun Yat-sen University's School of Business Administration.
