Jane Hegland has extensive experience in academia, currently serving as a Professor, Department Head, and Associate Dean at South Dakota State University since 2001. Prior to this role, Jane worked at New Mexico State University from 1995 to 2001. Jane Hegland holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and Design from St. Olaf College, as well as both a Master of Arts (M.A.) and a PhD in Apparel and Textiles from the University of Minnesota.
