Richard Fimbel

Richard Fimbel, CEM, currently serves as the Director of Emergency Management for the South Florida Water Management District, a position held since November 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing the emergency management program, conducting exercises and training, and enhancing stakeholder relationships. Prior to this role, Richard was an Emergency Manager at DBi Services from March 2008 to October 2021, functioning as Incident Commander and managing risk assessments. Richard's experience also includes project management roles at Faith Assembly of God and Roy Jorgensen Associates, as well as branch management positions at United Rentals and Sunbelt Rentals. Educational qualifications include a BS in Business Administration with a focus on International Affairs from the University of South Florida, along with further studies in ministerial studies and business administration.
