Rachid Zemouri

Rachid Zemouri is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consultancy, education, and engineering management. Currently serving as the Managing Director at ICAS Ltd since April 2011, Rachid provides independent consultancy services in security, safety, and fire across multiple countries in the Middle East and North Africa. In addition to consultancy work, Rachid has been a Lecturer in Digital Electronics and Programmable Logic Controllers at South Tyneside College since December 2012 and has held similar lecturing roles at Newcastle College and Gateshead College. Rachid also contributes to local governance as a member of the Independent Remuneration Panel for North Tyneside Council. Prior to these roles, Rachid held various management and consultancy positions within the security sector, including Engineering Manager at 2020 Visions Systems Ltd and Field Operations Manager at Stanley Security Solutions. Rachid holds a PhD in Digital Signal Processing and Electronics from Newcastle University and an Ingeniorat D'Etat in Electronics & Telecommunications from Université Ferhat Abbas, Sétif.
