Kenneth Dresang is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in mine geology and geologic management. Currently serving as the Mine Geology Superintendent at South32, Kenneth leads the site geology team to advance the development of the Clark and Taylor deposits. Prior to this role, Kenneth worked as the Geology Manager at Newmont Corporation, overseeing the Chaquicocha underground project in Peru, where project activities were impacted by the acquisition of Newcrest. Kenneth's earlier positions at South32 included Senior Geologist and Specialist Geologist, where responsibilities encompassed supervising junior geologists, managing workflows, and contributing to pre-feasibility studies. Kenneth's career also includes valuable experience at Newmont and Veris Gold Corp, where responsibilities ranged from underground ore control to geological modeling and drill plan execution. Kenneth holds a Bachelor's degree in Geology from the University of Arizona.
