Andrew Travers

Andrew Travers is an experienced leader in public sector management, currently serving as the Chief Executive of Southampton City Council since February 2024. Prior to this role, Andrew held the position of Associate Director at Inner Circle Consulting from September 2022 to February 2024, and served as Chief Executive at the London Borough of Lambeth from October 2017 to June 2022. Andrew's earlier career includes strategic advisory work at HALLIFORD ASSOCIATES LIMITED, a tenure as Chief Executive at Barnet Council, and senior roles at the London Development Agency, where responsibilities included resources and Olympic legacy management. Andrew also gained significant experience as Director of Finance at Haringey Council.
